How to configure 2-step authentication

The two-step authentication increases your security while logging into the email account. Choose whether you want to use a mobile application called IceWarp Authenticator that will generate a one-time password (OTP) or whether you want to receive a SMS with the code that will grant access. Authenticator is a free application available for iOS and Android. To enable SMS messaging, the administrator has to set up the SMS gateway first.

In case that two-step authentication has not been activated yet, enable this feature in the Quick Settings menu.

  1. Go to Quick Settings menu > Security > Set.

  2. Select the type of device and click Next.
