Maintenance

Maintenance is available after the installation of Outlook Sync. It is not necessary to create a new profile during installation to see Maintenance options.

In Maintenance you can:

  • Create a new Outlook Sync profile with the help of Profile manager

  • Bind Outlook POP3 account with IceWarp account directly from Outlook.

  • Clean Mailbox. This option temporarily removes emails and groupware data from Outlook .pst file. Once it is done, all folders and items are synchronized with the IceWarp server again. You can use Clean Mailbox to resynchronize your entire account in case you do not see certain folders or you are not able to manage content in folders, etc. However, if some emails are missing from a folder, we recommend resynchronizing the specific folder: right-click the folder -> Resynchronize.

    Note: Before resynchronization, export the Outlook rules, otherwise they will be lost (Home -> Rules -> Manage Rules and Alerts -> Options -> Export Rules). You do not need to export IceWarp Sync rules, they are synchronized.

  • Manage Settings of your account. Changes made in Settings will be reflected in WebClient as well.
