How to add your own skin
To add your own skin:
-
Create the skin. Create all files and folders needed – the Default skin can lead you. (It is possible to copy other skin and change what you need.)
-
Place it to the <install_dir>\html\webmail\client\skins\ folder using proper folder name.
-
Place the name.dat file into the newly created folder. The name.dat file must include the skin name in this format: My Skin(If in doubt, see the correct file within the Default skin.)
-
Add your skin as an item into the skins.xml file (also in the skins/ folder).
-
Rename build.safe inside \html\webmail\ to build.php.
-
Execute the build.php.
-
Select your skin in the Skin drop-down menu (Administration Options dialog – General – Layout).
Note: The Default skin is always listed as the first one, the other follow in the alphabetical order. (The list is generated dynamically.)
It is also possible to select one of the other skins:
-
bigger – suitable for non-latin scripts that need bigger characters to be readable
-
biggerrtl – suitable for scripts that are written from right to left
